Statement of Interfaith Coherence
We recognize that truth reveals itself through many languages, traditions, and embodied practices, each serving a distinct purpose in the awakening of the human being. These paths are not in conflict, nor do they replace one another. Together, they form a coherent and living architecture that supports the evolution of body, mind, and spirit.
We honor the Torah as foundation, the divine structure through which creation is ordered, relationship is established, and life is sustained. It offers the original blueprint for living in right relationship with God, humanity, and the Earth.
We honor the Bible as grace, where love moves through structure, mercy softens judgment, and the heart is taught the path of forgiveness, humility, and return. Grace allows the foundation to be lived with compassion rather than rigidity.
We honor the Bhagavad Gita as devotion expressed through right action. It teaches how to live in alignment with the Divine while fully engaged in the world, acting without attachment and surrendering the fruits of action to God.
We honor plant sacraments as sacred instruments of communion, through which the Divine Creator reveals wisdom directly through Creation itself. These natural sacraments serve as living teachers, opening perception, softening the heart, and restoring remembrance of our original relationship with God, the Earth, and one another. When held in ceremony, prayer, and right relationship, plant sacraments allow truth to be experienced rather than believed, supporting revelation, healing, and embodied spiritual awakening.
We honor Kundalini Yoga as activation, awakening divine intelligence within the body itself. Through breath, movement, sound, and discipline, dormant awareness is ignited along the spine and throughout the nervous system, allowing truth to be experienced directly rather than conceptually.
We honor music and sacred sound as transmission, recognizing rhythm, melody, mantra, and silence as universal languages through which the Divine moves directly into the body and heart. Through devotional music, chanting, drumming, and intentional sound, the nervous system is regulated, the spirit is softened, and remembrance is awakened. Music serves as prayer, medicine, and bridge, supporting emotional release, unity, and communion with the Divine.
We honor Vinyasa Yoga as integration, where breath and movement create flow, adaptability, and harmony. It teaches presence within change and allows awakened energy to move gracefully through daily life.
We honor Raja Yoga as mastery, the royal path of governing the mind through meditation, discipline, and stillness. It cultivates clarity, discernment, and sovereignty of consciousness.
We honor the Twelve Steps as a practice of daily spiritual hygiene, supporting humility, self-honesty, surrender, accountability, and a living relationship with the Divine. Through this practice, individuals maintain clarity, alignment, and responsibility in their inner lives.
We honor the Twelve Traditions as spiritual hygiene for community, guiding how we relate to one another with integrity, equality, service, and care. These principles support unity, healthy boundaries, shared responsibility, and the wellbeing of the whole over the individual.
We honor Human Design as mechanics, offering a practical map of how energy moves through the individual body. It restores dignity by revealing design rather than defect, allowing each person to live in alignment with their natural rhythm and purpose.
We honor the Gene Keys as alchemy, the contemplative process through which shadow is transformed into gift, and gift matures into wisdom. It teaches that suffering, when met with awareness and love, ripens into compassion and service.
Together, these paths form a unified system of remembrance, guiding humanity back into alignment with Divine order, embodied truth, conscious action, and loving service to all life.
Founder & Spiritual Leadership
Angel of Life Sanctuary was founded by Michael Freidin as a place of prayer, reflection, and sacred gathering. Leadership within the sanctuary is held with humility and responsibility, grounded in the understanding that no single person stands as a prophet or ultimate authority over another.
We understand Angel of Life Sanctuary as a living sanctuary, where the Divine is welcomed through the shared intention of those who gather. We do not claim exclusive teachers, messengers, or intermediaries. Wisdom is understood to unfold through sincere seeking, lived experience, conscience, sacred texts, and an attentive relationship with the natural world. Those who guide within the sanctuary serve as caretakers of the space and facilitators of ceremony, rather than figures to be followed or exalted.
Our spiritual orientation is informed by ancient scripture and covenantal teachings carried forward through generations, complemented by symbolic traditions that explore cycles of time, consciousness, and human nature, and by a view of life as nurtured by the Earth, held by the sky, and illuminated by the sun.
